The papers have been organised into nine series. The major ones are: Correspondence, 1971-89:correspondence about Hasluck's writings mainly with publishers, editors and literary agents and occasionally with other writers. Papers of Sir Paul Hasluck: relating to Paul Hasluck's writings and Nicholas Hasluck's role as editor of his father's work.
